About Us
Who are futurecareassured?

futurecareassured is the specialist long term care advisory division of Norwich based independent financial advisers, Financial Futures which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA)... more info

Although most aspects of financial planning are regulated by the FSA, surprisingly, because of a tightening up of "competency rules", even most independent financial advisers are no longer authorised to provide advice in matters relating to long term care!

If a plan is unregulated, advisers recommending it do not have to be financial services qualified or even have to demonstrate any particular level of knowledge or competence, but even if you seek out an independent financial adviser, unless you also check that he or she has passed the higher level Long Term Care examination and that they have maintained professional development to ensure competence, you cannot be sure that they should be advising you and have detailed and up to date knowledge about all matters and options relevant to long term care planning.

It follows that you should choose your long term care adviser with caution!
futurecareassured was set up in 1996 initially covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire & Essex but has since expanded and now covers the entire UK.

When you are advised by us you can have absolute confidence in your adviser's specialist knowledge, because we only allow fully qualified CF8 advisers, who regularly have to satisfy competency and professional development requirements, to advise you on your long term care planning needs

Working, often in conjunction with Social Services, Age Concern and solicitors, futurecareassured has a team of specialist advisers dealing with care fees planning issues.

All are fully qualified in the field of long term care and and registered independent financial advisers, and as such are fully authorised and regulated by the FSA. Each has many years financial planning experience, not only of financial planning in general, but also of the complications and intricacies involved in care fees planning (LTC) & Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning.

futurecareassured advisers undertake detailed financial needs analysis prior to making any recommendations and back up any recommendations with clearly explained, "reason why" and "suitability" reports
